What are Minecraft Hardcore servers?

Minecraft Hardcore servers build on survival gameplay by making death significantly more important. Players still gather resources, explore and build, but mistakes can have lasting consequences. Multiplayer Hardcore servers may use permanent death, limited lives, temporary lockouts or custom systems to create their own level of difficulty.

How to choose a Hardcore server
